I dropped in for a meal at Janitzio | Mexican Cuisine Restaurant while exploring the dining scene in Caldwell, and it is a phenomenal destination for exceptional, authentic comfort food. The vibrant, warm interior is beautifully decorated and creates an instantly welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. I ordered a combination platter featuring their classic tacos and enchiladas alongside fresh chips and salsa, and the food was outstanding—everything was prepared fresh with high-quality ingredients and packed with rich, traditional, and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was top-tier, exceptionally friendly, and attentive from start to finish, making it a premier spot for anyone seeking a truly delicious and genuine Mexican dining experience in the area.
We had to clear off our own table for starters. You had to scan for a menu, which didn't work on our phones so we asked for a menu & the waiter brought one (for the two of us). It took 35 minutes from the time we sat down until we got our food, which was mehhh. There were a couple tables that had some pretty loud people sitting at them, to the point we couldn't hear each other sitting across from one another. I typically won't write bad reviews, but we won't be going back. Nothing special about this place & there's several other Mexican restaurants to chose from around here.
Delicious, delicious, delicious! Benderas Rancheros was outstanding! Pollo Poblano was amazing as well! The staff were so kind and attentive. We will be back for sure! Thank you for the incredible food!
